I have the original dropside version of this crib and want to let prospective buyers know what poor quaility cribs Storkcraft produces. The rail has several major craks in it with peices of wood sticking out when our toddler rattles it back-n-forth. This is obviously a quailty issue. When reported to Storkcraft they claim it is not covered under the warranty since it was purchased over a year ago and will take not reponsibilty for the hazard it is creating. Apprently they only build their cribs to last less then 1 year of use, since we all buy the cribs before the baby is even born. Now I have to fork over $65 for a replacement peice for a crib I hate or just buy a whole new one. I think I will go with the second option instead of giving them another dime for a second rate product.
